Tech mindset brought to old-school broadcaster

Like the rest of the executives at CBS’s buttoned-down Black Rock headquarters in New York, Quincy Smith wears a suit to work. Yet Mr Smith also sports trainers – most recently, a shiny pair of Adidas.

That choice of footwear is a subtle reminder that while Mr Smith may work for the historic US broadcaster, he is not necessarily of the place.
