Skype China records messages

The Chinese arm of Skype, the Ebay-owned internet communications company, has been routinely storing copies of politically sensitive messages that users of its software try to send, according to Canadian researchers.

The report is likely to revive concerns about the role played by international companies in China's internet censorship system.
