EADS, Europe's biggest aerospace and defence group, warned Moscow yesterday that it was not willing to contemplate Russian representation on its board or any move giving Russia influence over corporate governance.

The joint statement by Manfred Bischoff and Arnaud Lagardère, the German and French co-chairmen of the Franco-German group, came as the leaders of Russia, France and Germany prepare to hold a summit in Paris at the end of next week.
