1. We the Finance Ministers of the G8 countries met today in Osaka Japan, in preparation for the Summit of the G8 Heads of State and Government in Hokkaido-Toyako. For a long time the world economy enjoyed a combination of robust growth and low inflation, but it now faces headwinds. We will work to ensure that the conditions are in place for continued strong world economic growth.
