Property fears drag Tokyo lower

The Japanese stock market fell on Friday, hit by continued fears about the property market and a resurgence in concerns about banking shares.

The Nikkei 225 moved down 0.8 per cent to 16,122.16. The broader Topix declined 0.7 per cent to Y1,557.02.
