Rentokill climbs on expectations

Rentokil Initial was in demand as the FTSE 100 recovered from a steep early drop to close higher.

Shares in the washrooms-to-pest control business rose 2.9 per cent to 112p after a push from BofA Merrill Lynch ahead of Friday’s third-quarter trading update.
