From Mr Paul Grimes.
Sir, By ignoring the need to manage its energy imports competently, the UK will be prey to the political and economic whims of the countries that supply it. The "slow-motion train wreck" anticipated by Roland Wessel of Star Energy if the UK does not rapidly increase its gas storage capacity sums up the urgency of the situation very well ("Britain lags behind in gas storage boom", September 10).
