Leading light behind the Aurora empire

The 750-acre estate that houses Magna International’s headquarters in Aurora, Ontario, north of Toronto, is impressive by any standard.

Round the corner from the car parts maker’s spacious offices and manicured gardens is the posh 18-hole Magna Golf Club and Adena Meadows residential community. Another entrance provides access to Adena Springs North, a horse-breeding and training complex with facilities including a half-mile indoor training track. Local soccer teams play on the estate’s pitches.
