Global survey reveals pension fears

A survey of global attitudes towards retirement has revealed that most people do not expect their government to support them, and are concerned that they are financially underprepared for old age.

Expectations differed across continents and between generations as to who should take responsibility for pensions, but three quarters of all those questioned said they did not trust their government to look after them in old age and expected to have to look elsewhere to fund their retirement.
