Deposed AIG chief silent in Spitzer interview

Maurice “Hank” Greenberg on Tuesday declined to testify about accounting methods at American International Group, where he was formerly chief executive.

In a last-minute decision made on Monday night, Mr Greenberg invoked his fifth amendment rights in response to substantive questions from regulators about his role in overseeing accounting practices at AIG.
