Fidelity picks top officials

Fidelity Investments, one of the best-known mutual fund groups, has appointed two senior executives, drawn from the ranks of those displaced by last year’s financial crisis.

Peter Cieszko, former chief executive of Evergreen, the investment arm of Wachovia, will this month become president of Fidelity’s institutional services company, Fidelity said on Tuesday.
