Eurozone growth slows

Eurozone growth has shown fresh signs of slowing this month, according to a closely-watched survey, but inflationary pressures show little sign of abating.

The purchasing managers’ index for the 15-country region reversed a modest rebound seen last month and dropped from February’s 52.8 to 51.9. That brought March’s index back to a level only slightly higher than the three-year low seen in January.
