Twitchy creditors threaten airlines

The aircraft detentions that led to the swift collapse of Zoom Airlines last week have led industry observers to suggest more of the same could be in store for other struggling airlines.

Zoom, a low-cost carrier operating between Canada and Europe, went into administration last week after two of its planes were detained by creditors with liens, legal claims, over the airline’s assets.
