Moves to ease squeeze on suppliers

Moves to try to stop big companies squeezing their small suppliers will be launched by the government on Wednesday.

Lord Mandelson, the business secretary, will host a meeting of the main employers’ groups and some large corporates to launch a voluntary code on payment terms. John Lewis, British Gas and Fujifilm will all sign up to the agreement.
