The Hong Kong stock market should increasingly benefit from the improving economic backdrop in mainland China, says Jing Ulrich, chairman China equities at JPMorgan.

“Abundant liquidity, low interest rates, and China’s economic recovery have already brought an influx of funds into Hong Kong,” she says, noting China’s closed capital account means that international investors access Chinese stocks primarily through Hong Kong.
