Russian power company plans London float

Prosperity Capital Management, an investment firm specialising in Russia, is planning to raise $200m by floating its Russian electricity holding company in London later this year.

The shares in the holding company, New Russian Generation, would be an alternative for investors seeking to participate in Russia’s electricity sector sell-off, according to Mattias Westman, Prosperity Capital’s managing director.
