Former board member grilled at Black trial

Marie-Josée Kravis said on Monday that while serving as a director of Hollinger International’s audit committee she missed 11 disclosures of a $15m non-compete payment to Conrad Black and other executives.

The admission by Mrs Kravis, an economist who is married to billionaire financier Henry Kravis, comes days after another former Hollinger director, Richard Burt, said that he too “missed” and signed off on a number of disclosures of payments in public documents that were filed to securities regulators.
