Sir, Christopher Caldwell (“Enemies need not be insane”, November 14/15) creates a distinction without a difference. The religion of Islam is based on a trilogy: the koran, the sira (biography of Mohammed) and the hadith (traditions of Mohammed). Since Mohammed was the perfect man, his every act and deed must be emulated.
