Netanyahu invites Abbas for peace talks

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, on Sunday said he was ready to meet his Palestinian counterpart immediately to revive peace efforts.

“There is no reason that Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas and I should not meet immediately, anywhere in this country, in order to advance the political process,” Netanyahu said at a weekly Cabinet meeting.
