Crude resumes slide on global demand fears

Commodities prices neared a three-month low on Tuesday, with oil prices extending their dive to an intraday trough of $120 a barrel amid concerns over slowing global demand for raw materials.

The Reuters-Jefferies CRB index, a global commodity benchmark, fell to 407.97, down 13.9 per cent from its peak in early July.
