Commerzbank soars on asset plan hopes

Commerzbank was the star of Wednesday’s session, leading the Continent’s bourses in an upbeat start to the new quarter.

The German bank gained 18.6 per cent to €5.26 after the European Central Bank said it had no objections to Germany’s “bad bank” plan.
