Blind faith in active funds hard to shake

Just six months ago pension schemes were outraged about the poor performance of their actively managed funds after a severe market beating and resolved to adopt a more passive investment approach.

But many seem to be regaining their faith in active management in spite of continuing poor performance and data showing the majority of active fund managers consistently underperform their benchmarks.
