File sharers sentenced to prison

The entertainment industry scored a rare victory on Friday as a Swedish court found four men guilty of promoting copyright infringement by running Pirate Bay, the world’s biggest free file-sharing website, and jailed each for a year.

However, industry observers were sceptical the verdict would have any impact on illegal downloading, arguing that as one site is shut down another two open.
