Alizyme, the biotechnology company, has warned that it may go into administration or liquidation without further funds.

In a trading update, it said that there was “now material uncertainty as to the receipt of milestone payments due”. It did “not now expect to have sufficient funding to last beyond the end of August”, and would be unable to continue as a going concern without raising more money.
