Britain to send more helicoptors to Afghanistan

Britain is aiming to get more helicopters to Afghanistan by next spring to support its 4,000 troops there, according to a UK government minister. .

Nato commanders have asked for more soldiers to bolster alliance operations there, but it is widely recognised that it also needs greater capability to move forces around inside the country.
