Seventh Generation and Method Home Products both sell environmentally friendly household cleaning products. In supermarkets and discount stores across the US, Vermont-based Seventh Generation’s naturalistic green and white labels fight for space against the luridly high-technology packaging of San Francisco-based Method.

The packaging may be different, but the rivals share common ground as participants in a fledgling sustainability initiative run by Philadelphia-based B-Lab.
