Warning on repeat of LSC mistakes

The same mistakes that led Britain’s biggest quango to approve billions of pounds for unaffordable college construction could well happen again, MPs have warned.

This year’s news that the Learning and Skills Council had provisionally accepted more than £2bn ($3.3bn) of projects than it could fund has prompted a flurry of reviews from government and parliament on how the mistake happened and what can be learnt from it.
