Lebanese tensions rise after bombing

Sectarian tensions in Lebanon rose again on Thursday as the country buried the victims of Wednesday’s bomb attack that killed a prominent anti-Syrian Sunni lawmaker along with his eldest son and eight others.

Hundreds of irate young Sunnis attending the funeral rites for MP Walid Eido shouted slogans against Syria and its main Lebanese ally, the Shia Hizbollah movement.
