Rupert Murdoch, chairman and chief executive of News Corp, on Wednesday said that the company’s DirecTV satellite division to unveil a plan for offering broadband access to its customers ready within “a couple of months”.

The comments came on the back of strong results reported by News Corp and DirecTV on Wednesday.
