Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu has been a lucky man. His rightwing Likud party came second in last month’s Israeli elections but he is now leading the country as prime minister. He cobbled together an unappealing coalition of mostly right and far-right parties but then managed also to lure the more leftist Labour party.
But Mr Netanyahu should not be celebrating, not yet and maybe not for a long time, for his real troubles are just beginning.
