Bush searches for positives in Brazil

President George W. Bush was in Brasília on Sunday attempting to salvage something positive from the Summit of the Americas that ended in disarray in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on Saturday.

Mr Bush met President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in a closed meeting at the Brazilian president’s private residence. Following the meeting the two leaders made strong expressions of mutual respect and of willingness to co-operate on a range of issues.
