Cousins must focus and simplify Compass

A straight-talking Yorkshireman, Richard Cousins will have plenty of work when he joins Compass as chief executive in June.

"It's a very big job and I'm assuming he has done his homework," says Konrad Zomer, an analyst at Cheuvreux. The caterer has been in the spotlight because one of its subsidiaries is being investigated by US federal authorities, US lawmakers and the United Nations for alleged corruption.
