Rentokil raises hopes that City Link fixed

Rentokil Initial, the washrooms-to-pest control business, gave investors encouragement that the worst was over as first half results beat analysts’ expectations.

Alan Brown, chief executive, said greater-than-expected progress had been made in cutting costs and improving productivity, which helped more than double interim operating cash flow in the six months to June 30.
