Cameron seeks to revitalise links with India

Relations between the UK and India are suffering from fatigue and need revitalising, David Cameron, the Conservative leader, will tell Manmohan Singh, the Indian prime minister, at a meeting on Wednesday in New Delhi.

“You get a sense from Indian business people that the British should be doing more,” the Conservative leader said on Tuesday. “We have done well in the past, but there’s a sense that we’re now just sitting back and could miss out on the next wave if we don’t keep the effort up.”
