Wal-Mart and Tesco are opening mini-stores across the American West in a bid to draw customers who have had enough of giant supercentres. Jonathan Birchall visits Wal-Mart’s Marketside and Tesco’s Fresh & Easy stores in the Phoenix, Arizona, area to see what customers think of this new model.
