IASB to confront EU over rejection

Accounting experts charged with drawing up rules on financial instruments say the European Union's rejection of a controversial new derivatives standard does not add up.

Members of the International Accounting Standards Board are to meet Charlie McCreevy, the EU's internal market commissioner for talks in London this week.
