Clinton claims big states give her primacy

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday claimed the “tide is turning” in her favour after beating Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary on Tuesday and pressed her case that she had the better chance of winning the White House for the Democrats.

The New York senator said Mr Obama’s failure to win big swing states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio raised doubts about his ability to beat John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate, in November.
