Indonesia, the country worst affected by the deadly H5N1 bird flu, said on Tuesday it would not share human virus samples of the disease until a global mechanism has been established to give developing countries greater access to pandemic vaccines and help them manufacture their own medicines.

This is the fourth time Jakarta has reneged on promises to resume fully sharing samples since it stopped sending them to international laboratories in December.
