Kesa Electricals, Europe’s third biggest electrical retailer, on Monday named Thierry Falque-Pierrotin, an executive at French retailing and luxury goods group PPR, as its new chief executive.

Mr Falque-Pierrotinis is a chief executive at Redcats, a home shopping business focused on fashion and home decoration and will join Kesa on 5 January 2009.
