Sir, Like many entrepreneurs I welcome the European Commission's commitment to sweep away the remaining barriers to trade, "A vision for the single market of the 21st century", published February 21. What a pity then that the Commission is undermining its own work with a proposal, in the form of Rome I, that could reverse the revolution in cross-border trading generated by e-commerce.
