The dollar fell to new lows Thursday after the run of woeful US data continued with weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter growth and rising unemployment claims.

The euro climbed against the currency to a fresh record of $1.5210, while the Swiss franc also powered to a new peak at SFr1.0499 following the data.
