Equities enjoyed another strong week, with many indices reaching their highest levels in four months.

The Nikkei 225 was up 4.1 per cent on the week, closing on Friday at 14,219.48 points, near its four-month high. The broader Topix added 4 per cent during the week, closing at 1,395.07 points.
