Investment trust vehicles picking up speed again

A number of private equity investment trusts (Peits), which have been ravaged by the credit crunch, are now being recommended as a good buy.

Private wealth managers and retail investors flocked to private equity in recent years, as more investment trusts sprung up that widened access to the asset class.
