A coal-fired power station soon to be built in China could prove to be one of the most effective weapons yet in the battle against climate change.
The plant, announced in September, will be built with the aid of the European Union. Coal is a dirty fuel, producing air pollution and more carbon dioxide for the electricity it generates than gas or oil.
