CHICAGO, March 1 (Reuters) - Northwest Airlines on Wednesday reached a tentative labour deal with its flight attendants union but continued negotiations with its pilots, who have threatened to strike if the airline voids their current contract.
A federal bankruptcy judge had given the bankrupt US carrier until the close of business on Wednesday to reach a deal. A Northwest spokesman said the judge had yet to call an end to talks and has also yet to make a ruling.
