Unocal board to meet again on CNOOC bid

The board of Unocal was on Tuesday night scheduled to meet for the third time in less than a week to consider competing takeover offers from CNOOC of China and Chevron of the US.

So far, Unocal's directors have remained silent about their intentions, causing frustration among many of its investors hoping for guidance.
