Glimmer of optimism in Black camp

It is one month into his trial on criminal fraud charges and Conrad Black is beginning to look more upbeat.

In some respects, the glimmer of optimism that seems to have reappeared in the eyes of the former newspaper executive accused of stealing $60m from Hollinger International, the company he once controlled, seems justified.
