Overview: Uncertain mood leaves risky assets exposed

A growing mood of uncertainty in the markets left risky assets such as equities and commodities looking more vulnerable on Thursday, even as government bonds sold off amid confusion about the outlook for central bank policy.

“The hum of underlying risk pressures is definitely gaining amplitude,” said Lena Komileva, head of G7 market economics at Tullett Prebon.
