ESPN set to tackle English football

It could be billed as a cross-code clash – football vs soccer – as the world’s biggest sports broadcaster finally wins some possession in the most competitive of television arenas.

When British sports fans reach for their remote controls this summer at the start of the football season they will find a new channel, ESPN, vying for their attention alongside British Sky Broadcasting’s Sky Sports.
