D Telekom plans wider iPhone rights in Europe

Deutsche Telekom is set to sell Apple’s multimedia mobile iPhone exclusively in Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary and Croatia – as well as Germany.

T-Mobile, a Telekom subsidiary, has reached an agreement with the US-based technology group to have exclusive rights to sell the iPhone in nearly all European countries where it has a presence, Financial Times Deutschland, the FT’s sister paper, has learnt.
